In order to solve the problem that the original interactive electronic technical manual (IETM) product navigation mode is single and not intuitive, an equipment IETM system based on virtual roaming navigation interactive mode is proposed. The virtual reality technology is creatively embedded into the IETM, and the interactive algorithm of "model-data" two-way navigation is designed. Taking the IETM manual browsing of a tank cockpit as an example, the virtual roaming navigation test is verified. The results show that the system enables users to browse the details of the equipment from the first-person perspective, and greatly improves the display of IETM.
