Abstract:With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, digital twin, and big data analytics technologies, foreign wargaming technologies are entering an entirely new innovative phase. Currently, these emerging frontier technologies are fundamentally transforming traditional wargaming methods, making them more efficient, intelligent, and precise. This paper focuses on the latest developments in foreign wargaming technologies, initially examining the primary challenges currently faced by wargaming. Subsequently, it provides an in-depth analysis of the most recent progress achieved by countries such as the United States, Israel, and Switzerland in the research and application of wargaming systems, highlighting each nation"s specific accomplishments in technological innovation and practical implementation. Finally, this paper forecasts the future development directions of wargaming technologies, offering a detailed analysis of key technologies and their applicability. Although numerous challenges persist in both cutting-edge technology and practical applications, as these issues are progressively addressed, wargaming is expected to deliver more intelligent and precise support for military strategic planning and operational preparedness, significantly enhancing the scientific and effective nature of military decision-making.
