In order to meet the requirements of weapons and ammunition for the target damage ability and safety, the detonation characteristics of certain type cast PBX explosive were analyzed. The performance characteristics of pouring PBX explosives are introduced. According to the selection principle of the booster charge column, the critical diameter and stable detonation are tested respectively, and the matching of the booster explosive is experimentally verified. The experimental results show that when the amount of boosting explosive and the diameter of the column reach a certain value, the explosive can realize reliable explosion and reach stable detonation.
