Abstract:In order to promote the development of domestic ammunition warhead manufacturing technology, the present situation and development of advanced manufacturing technology of ammunition warhead shell, damage element and explosive charge abroad are analyzed. It is necessary to vigorously develop advanced manufacturing technologies such as powder metallurgy, rapid prototyping, additional material manufacturing, precision forming of damage elements, explosive sphere, vacuum vibration charge, pouring and solidification of PBX explosive, twin screw extrusion charge and so on, and establish the concept of “large-scale manufacturing”. At the same time, the research and development and application of advanced manufacturing equipment should be strengthened so as to significantly improve the manufacturing quality of ammunition warheads and intelligent manufacturing water. It greatly reduces the manufacturing time and cost.
