Abstract:To overcome the disadvantages of traditional airplane HUD bore sighting, such as the big bore sighting error, the long working time and the complicated operation, a design of integrated equipment is proposed for airplane HUD bore sighting. This design only needs to adjust the attitude of target stand, without adjusting the attitude of airplane. After the principle and the technical scheme of the automatic equipment are demonstrated, it is determined that the basic framework of integrated equipment for airplane HUD bore sighting and the parameters of attitude target, such as ascending and descending, pitching, roll, shift, etc. A principle prototype of the integrated equipment is developed and a number of tests are done. The test results show that the integrated equipment can improve the bore sighting precision of airplane HUD bore sighting, simplify the bore sighting process, and also save a lot of manpower material resources and time; the design is enough to meet the requirements of airplane HUD bore sighting.
