According to the functional characteristics and requirements of the aviation mission planning system, a database management architecture of the mission planning system is proposed. By using the technologies of metadata and object-oriented modeling, a construction scheme of the functional modules and management process of the database software for the mission planning system is designed. The results show that the architecture can meet the functional requirements of the aviation mission planning system for large data storage and planning of multi-aircraft combat schemes.
