In order to accurately and reasonably evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of military equipment material support programs under actual combat conditions, an evaluation method for equipment material support programs based on the improved TOPSIS method is proposed. Based on the characteristics of the army equipment material support plan under actual combat conditions, evaluation indicators are established, the gray correlation degree is used to determine the weight of each evaluation index, and the improved TOPSIS method is used to evaluate the plan. The results show that the method has accurate evaluation results, few steps in the evaluation process, simple and reliable calculation, and can well reflect the equipment material support capabilities under actual combat conditions.
